No network. A second language. Everything learned the hard way.

I left Brazil in 2008 with no network and a second language I was still learning. Deer Designer started as a side gig. Today it's a seven-figure design subscription run by pods across 12 countries, and most days it doesn't need me in the room.

Getting there meant productizing the offer, building the pods, writing the playbooks, and letting go of the parts of the job I was proudest of. I'm doing it again right now, taking the company upmarket.
